Academic qualification: 
  • Post-doctoral Fellowship: Worked as a post-doctoral scholar at the Global Change Programme, Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2013 on the topic: Economics of Low-Carbon Growth of Kolkata City.
  • Ph.D in Economics: Submitted in 2012 and awarded in 2013 from University of Mysore through Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore. Thesis title: Health, Labour Supply and Wages: A Study in West Bengal.  She is a recipient of the VKRV Rao Prize for the best thesis in Economics submitted during 2009-2014 at ISEC, Bangalore.
  • MA in Economics: Graduated in 2005 from University of Kalyani, West Bengal. 
  • BA (Honours) in Economics: Graduated in 2003 from Kalyani Mahavidyalaya, University of Kalyani, West Bengal.
