The Gujarat Institute of Development Research (GIDR) is inviting applications for the position of Research
Associate for a project focused on assessing the welfare schemes of India. This role offers an opportunity

Position Title: Research Associate (RA)
Project Focus: Assessment of Welfare Schemes of India
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct literature reviews on welfare schemes and policy interventions in India.
• Engage in fieldwork, including data collection and stakeholder interviews.
• Analyze data and contribute to report writing.
• Support the research team in various tasks to fulfill project objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Master’s degree or higher in Social Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience with literature review, fieldwork, and qualitative and quantitative research.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
