About the project
The Citywide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) Programme in
Trichy, facilitated by the Tamil Nadu Urban Sanitation Support Programme
(TNUSSP), has demonstrated significant advances in inclusive urban sanitation.
As the programme concludes, IIHS-TNUSSP has commissioned an external evaluation to assess its effectiveness, impact, and potential for replication
across other cities.
Qualification and Experience of RA
MA/Ph.D in Economics/Econometrics/Sociology/Urban Studies/Development
Studies/ Gender Studies with research
experience in Sanitation/ Urban Governance/ Social Inclusion/ Gender.
The RA is expected
to be engaged in each stage of the study including but not restricted to preparing and studying available literature, organizing
stakeholders’ consultations, supervision and monitoring the field work, data collection, preparation of data, data analysis, and preparation of draft
reports.

No. of positions : 2 , 2
Location : Trichy, Anywhere in India (Ahmedabad is preferred)
Tenure : 2 months , 3 months
Salary and remuneration
Salary
will depend on the suitability of
the candidate, budget provisions and
institutional norms at GIDR. However, for a suitable candidate it will be in
the range of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 60,000/- per month.
